We understand that capital access is a significant challenge for entrepreneurs. The Centro Capital Hub is a local connection between entrepreneurs and sources of capital.

The Centro Capital Hub can help you find options for raising capital to start, grow or support your business. Through the Centro Capital Hub, entrepreneurs can access to interest-free loans through Kiva or low-interest SBA microloans from local, non-profit Community Development Financial Institutions.

ABOUT THE CENTRO CAPITAL HUB

The Centro Capital Hub provides access to capital from many local partners that offer microloans for low-income, women, undocumented, and minority entrepreneurs. We partner with the following nonprofit organizations:

Crowdfunded 0% interest loans up to $15,000.

Offers loans for entrepreneurs starting at $1,000. All of their products have 0% interest.

Offers small business loans from $5,000 - $100,000.

Offers fair and affordable loans from $10,000 - $200,000 to California small businesses.

Offers microloans from $5,000 - $100,000.

Offers microloans from $5,000 - $350,000.

Offers small business loans starting at $5,000 up to $50,000.

annual Update 2023

In 2023, we provided access to 48 Kiva loans for a total of $480,000 through our Kiva Hubs. Additionally, we helped 7 entrepreneurs access grants through the SEED initiative, Immigrants Rising (for a total of $35,000).

The businesses that accessed our Centro Capital Hub are mainly led by women (72%), immigrants (60%), people of color, Latinx (55%), and Black (38%). Read more here.
