Centro Community Partners Selected as a Finalist for the Inspire Awards

We are honored to announce that Centro is one of the finalists for the prestigious Truist Foundation Inspire Awards! This recognition is a testament to our commitment and impact in supporting low-income women and BIPOC entrepreneurs.

The MIT Inspire Award program elevates and celebrates nonprofit organizations nationwide with innovative solutions supporting entrepreneurs. This year, the awards focus on how nonprofits can leverage technology to empower entrepreneurs to serve their customers, adapt to economic disruptions, streamline operations, and build partnerships that strengthen the small business community.

Following the success of the inaugural Inspire Awards in 2022, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) initiative to identify nonprofit organizations with the most innovative technology solutions that address the challenges that small business owners face, the Truist Foundation and MIT Solve received over 100 grant applications from 32 states. After research and an extensive interview process, seven finalists were selected to participate in the comprehensive support program and present their solutions at the awards ceremony.

Being selected as a finalist is a great honor and places us among the most impactful organizations in our country. Arturo Noriega, founder and CEO of Centro, will have the opportunity to present Centro's vision and project during the final presentation on Wednesday, April 24th. This event will be live-streamed, giving you, our community, and others the opportunity to witness our dedication and work.

What makes this event even more exciting is that attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite finalists. Your support in this virtual voting process is crucial and could make a substantial difference in the success of our projects.

We invite the entire Centro community to join us on this exciting journey. To do so, we ask that you:
